MPWRD | PRIVATE DIAGNOSTIC CALLS

You Can't Fix What You Haven't Identified.

Are You Solving the Right Problem?

When something isn't working, our natural instinct is to fix it with the familiar:

Feeling exhausted? Take a holiday.

Feeling undervalued? Look for another job.

Feeling overwhelmed? Get better at managing your time.

But what happens when the holiday ends, the new job feels just like the old one, or your perfectly organised calendar is still overflowing?

You might have addressed the symptoms without identifying the problem.

Sometimes what looks like a time management issue is actually a problem with expectations or boundaries.

What feels like a lack of motivation might be connected to your working environment.

And what appears to be career dissatisfaction might have more to do with what you want from life outside work.

Until you understand what's contributing to the situation, it's easy to keep making changes that don't address the underlying issue.

That's where a diagnostic call comes in.

We'll focus on three things:

01. The Symptoms

What are you experiencing?

We'll start by exploring what's happening in your career or life that has prompted you to seek support.

What feels frustrating, exhausting or out of alignment?

What have you noticed changing?

And what have you already tried to address it?

02. The Contributing Factors

What's happening beneath the surface?

We'll examine the circumstances, expectations, habits and assumptions that may be contributing to your situation.

Are you responding to the actual problem or the way it's showing up?

Are there patterns you've overlooked or factors you haven't considered?

The aim is to look beyond the most obvious explanation.

03. The Underlying Issue

What actually needs your attention?

We'll bring together what we've explored to identify the most relevant issues and areas that may need further attention.

You may discover that the challenge is different from what you initially thought, or gain greater confidence in your understanding of what's happening.

The purpose isn't to solve everything in one conversation, but help you understand what you're dealing with.

Why Diagnosis Before Strategy?

Because the Wrong Solution to the Wrong Problem Is Still the Wrong Solution.

You can have the best strategy in the world, but if it's designed to solve the wrong problem, you may find yourself right back where you started.

A diagnostic call isn't about creating another action plan or adding more tasks to your already busy life.

It's about examining the challenge itself.

Diagnosis asks: What's happening, and what might be contributing to it?

Strategy asks: What are we going to do about it?

Both have their place.

But sometimes, before you can make an empowered move, you need a clearer understanding of the situation you're moving from.
